As soon as we arrived at the gate of Dehong, we were surrounded by bursts of "wow——" exclamations and crisp laughter 🥳 On Beijing Dehong School's opening day, there were no rigid ceremonies, only unspeakable excitement and joy!
The Year of the Horse "Good Start" brought unique surprises: lion dances, blessings on a building tour, and super interesting "horse jumping" interactions. Children chased the lions and jumped over the railings with smiles, while parents kept taking photos with their phones. Back-to-school anxiety? It doesn't exist! Let's fully unlock the happiness of the new semester～
The First Greeting
The first greeting back to school was full of surprises! Early in the morning, the school gate was bustling. The principals waited gently as usual, the familiar Dehong Cow was also here, and the new member——lion dance team made a grand appearance 🥳
There were no lengthy speeches.Coco, Executive Principal, said with great enthusiasm:"Wish you all good health and all the best! Dehong is the Best!"Sincere, powerful, and instantly impressive.
Lion Dance
Next came the most anticipated part——the eye-dotting ceremony! The principals of the main campus held writing brushes and gently dotted the lions' eyes, symbolizing endowing the new lions with life and spirit. Accompanied by auspicious blessings, the whole ceremony was full of meaning. In the kindergarten, two deputy heads completed this ceremony together.
With a cheer, the sonorous drumbeat sounded instantly. The golden and vermilion lions walked proudly, shaking their heads and tails, looking cute and majestic! Seeing the lions leap up and take a bite of the lettuce in one go, which symbolizes attracting wealth and blessings, all the good fortune of the Year of the Horse was left on the campus.
"Horse Jumping"
After watching the lion dance, we came to the super interesting "horse jumping" interaction area! The hurdles were pasted with small slogans like "Be Happy at Once", "Succeed at Once" and "Make Progress at Once" (a clever pun). Adults and children jumped over them one by one, completely releasing their vitality in running and jumping, and the happiness of the opening day was directly doubled!
Building Tour
The most surprising part was here! The principals, together with the lion dance team, started a building tour, visiting each classroom one by one to send blessings and red envelopes ❤️ When the children heard the footsteps, they sat up straight early, full of expectation in their eyes. The laughter in the classrooms echoed one after another, warm and healing.
Switch to Study
After the excitement, the vitality in the classrooms was still full! Each class quickly got into the state. The children sat straight, with focused and bright eyes, listening carefully to the teacher's rhythm, raising their hands actively, and the pen tips rustled on the notebooks without the slightest slack. Putting aside the naughtiness when playing, their focused study looks were particularly touching. Every serious little face and every straight figure formed the most healing and powerful picture of the opening day, which also hid the children's expectations and efforts for the new semester.
Home-School Unity
"On behalf of all parents, our PTA would like to praise Dehong School for its careful planning!
